This week flew by like a high-speed train.
We *completely* sold out of all of our spring 2026 tours in just minutes.
To all those who are joining us on a tour this fall or next spring: we CANNOT wait to host you!
And to anyone unable to secure a spot: we hope you can join us another time.
HELLO! Are you new here? If you answered “yes”, please tap the subscribe button below so you don’t miss out on any of the good stuff.
10 Things That Made This Week Great
On Sunday we taste tested Nutella biscuits sold in the US vs. Italy and there was definitely a difference! TLDR: the nutella filling in the US cookies was more thin and spreadable and the nutella filling in the Italy cookies was more like a legitimate chocolate hazel nut paste (and better tasting!).
Cody makes chicken thighs ever single week on our Traeger and has perfected his meal prep! Considering sharing for Father’s Day or just summer BBQ season. Let me know if you want the recipe.
Had date night at one of our all-time fav restaurants in Portland: Xiao Ye. The menu changes regularly, but the madeleines are a must-order (!). Ask your server what’s good (hi, Clay!) and #trust.
Xiao Ye is a MUST visit in Portland. Make a reservation on Open Table for your next trip to PDX. Stil dreaming about this week’s recipe (Italian chicken curry). If you need an easy, aromatic, and totally comforting recipe this week, please make this.
I am living for this warmer weather and you better believe I’ll be taking my adorable Marshall speaker with me every where I go, all spring and summer long.
Enjoying the last bits and pieces of full-fledged spring. Things like this tree literally take my breath away.
Took a quick trip home to Utah to shoot an upcoming webisode for Shea McGee’s Youtube Series “Around The Table,” and had the BEST time making handmade pasta. Great food and even better company (I’ll share the episode when it’s live)!
Spent a few hours catching up over dinner with two of my dearest friends in the world. There is something just irreplaceable about a childhood friend that knows you forward and backward (and loves you no matter what!).
This license plate frame made me smile.
My morning walks are my sanity. I always have my airpods in but there’s a 90% chance I’m not using them. And yes—I’m totally on the weighted vest trend and so far I’m loving it (this is the one I use).
What are you doing this weekend? Trying a new restaurant or recipe? Getting outside? Tell me everything.
What weight is your vest?💪🏻
Chicken thigh recipe is a yes! It's my favorite part of the bird.
